biodistribution & molecular biology
At IITRI, we perform conventional and real time PCR and one-step or two-step RT-qPCR, which allow us to do relative and absolute quantitation of gene expression at the RNA and DNA levels. We perform both GLP and non-GLP biodistribution studies. We utilize CFX96 and CFX384 real time PCR detection systems which allow us to analyze a large number of samples in a short period of time. With these PCR detection systems, we can conduct various PCRs to our sponsor’s satisfaction. Multiple protocols for PCR are in our system, and we can always tailor our SOPs/protocols to fit the sponsor’s goals. With well trained BS and MS level technicians and a strong quality control system, high quality DNA/RNA can be isolated from cell, tissue, and organ samples.

PCR and/or RT-qPCR
For PCR or RT-qPCR analysis, although we can generally use commercially available primers and probes, we can also design primers and probes and test them in our laboratory if they are not commercially available. SYBR green supermix (primers only) or Taqman PCR supermix (primers + probe) are used for PCR and RT-PCR. If necessary, we can also develop and perform multiple gene expression analysis in single wells. For reverse transcription (RT), we use commercially available cDNA synthesis kits (Invitrogen or BioRad) to make cDNA samples.
Multiple biodistribution studies were performed in the past years using different animal models.
